Savannah, GA – Goodfortune Market, a small daily market owned by Becca Goossen, will be coming soon to 2413 Waters Ave. Located next to two other women-owned businesses, Cast & Grey and The Stacks, Goodfortune Market will offer quality foods to the Midtown neighborhoods of Ardsley Park, Baldwin Park, and Live Oak. Goodfortune Market, specializing in made to order coffee and bagels, will also provide retail grocery, prepared foods, and limited household items. On November 17, 2023, Goodfortune Market won SCORE Savannah's prestigious local entrepreneurial contest, BizPitch. "Small markets are good for our bodies, good for our community, and good for our economy. What I really want people to know is that Goodfortune is good for everyone," said Goossen during her BizPitch presentation. Goossen, who lives near the store's location, expects to be fully operational in early 2024.
